Sarah smoked her first experimental cigarette at 15 and thought that she would never get hooked because they tasted so bad! 17 years later, Sarah was still smoking and despite numerous attempts to quit using willpower, Sarah always managed to find any excuse to start smoking again.
It was on Sarah’s wedding day when she spent most of the day sneaking cigarettes that she decided something had to change. “I burnt my veil whilst having a sneaky cigarette just before I walked down the aisle – that’s when I knew enough was enough!”
Sarah had heard of Allen Carr’s method when living in the UK and was excited when she saw a session in Adelaide advertising this method that had been so successful for friends. She arrived at the session apprehensive and a little bit sceptical, but walked away knowing that she would never smoke again, and she has never looked back!
Sarah was so inspired by the success she experienced that she has since joined the team as an Allen Carr’s Easyway to Stop Smoking therapist and is enjoying helping others experience the freedom from smoking that she herself has found.
