I attended your clinic on the 9th of September 2006…
I can blissfully report that I am still and will always be a non smoker! Woohooo!
I came home from the clinic and smiled at my wife and announced:
"I will never put those evil things in my mouth again! And I have never been so happy to say it”. It really was quite an emotional moment. I have no shame in saying I cried with happiness all the way home in the car. I knew it was the start of something, not the end.
What I find key; Is that I haven’t given up anything! What I did do, was choose a better life. No longer does my wife recoil at the smell of me. More hugs and kisses!! The list of benefits is endless.
My friends and family were sceptical at first because they could not believe how easy it was for me. “One day clinic and you’re cured? Yeah right!” Yes, one day and you can start celebrating straight away. I went straight home and cracked the champagne. I had quite a few friends say directly to me – “we’ll see, I bet you’re back on them in a month”. Wrong again.
Hey, I didn’t believe you when you said that no will power was required. But you are right; it is as easy as deciding not to watch a particular TV show.
Thanks Natalie. You were involved in one of the landmark days in my life. I am very proud of myself for making the choice to attend your clinic.

My husband attended the Allen Carr's non smoking clinic 10 weeks ago & after 41 years of smoking 2-3 packets per day, is now a non-smoker.
John is now walking - something he had previously refused to do - as he is finding a new respect for his body since ceasing smoking. So, at age 62 he has not only given up smoking heavily, he is now exercising & enjoying it.

Thankyou for the interview (Conversations with Robyn) - & perhaps thank you for a few more years with my husband.

Kit

It's extraordinary. It's amazing. I never thought it would work for me. It took 3 goes but I am now finally and completely a non-smoker, without even knowing how I have become so. I was such a committed and addicted smoker for so long...Do I feel better? Yes! It's weird, but I am truly grateful. Wish I'd done it years ago.

Adele

After getting sicker and sicker of cigarettes, I decided to quit on one Tuesday afternoon. Not realizing that the one that I was smoking at that time was going to be my last because I thought I would never have made it that far. First day, the withdrawal pangs were so severe that I had to constantly stuff something in my mouth all day. I survived and proud of my own willpower even though I would\'ve given in that night if it weren\'t for my wife. The second day was even more miserable, I decided to do some research and found out someone on a forum talking about the Allen Carr method. Desperate, I researched him and his book extensively and decided to buy the book that very day. After 1/3 into the book, I completely lost my withdrawal pangs. I tried to \"search\" for it by constantly reminding myself that I had it a few hours before, but I couldn\'t find it and it was completely gone! I have now finished reading the book and proud to say that I\'m a happy non-smoker. This may sound cheesy and corny, but it works like a miracle, it really does. Up until this very moment, I\'m still trying to \"search\" for the withdrawal pangs within me. Thank you Allen Carr. He should be considered as the next recipient of the Nobel Prize.

Glen L

Hi Natalie,
This is just a short email to say thank you for helping me finally stop smoking. I came to one of your sessions back in May - I'm sorry it took me so long to write this but i guess I've found it hard to believe that i've really done it this time! I feel fantastic and I haven't had a single craving, in fact for the first time, now when I see smokers all I can think is how glad I am not to smoke anymore! So thank you again, you've changed my life and keep up your amazing work.

Chris

Hi Natalie,
Just a quick message to let you know I'm still completely free of nicotine and its now August, that's 3 months!!
I haven't had one puff, suck, sip, lick, patch, etc since the session on 16 May 09.
People still smoke around me, and I don't get any cravings.
At first the cravings came regularly, and I was easily able to get through them, they only lasted briefly as you promised.

I have a few other health issues, and not smoking helps me get through them easier.

I've saved so much money, I'm planning a holiday to Vanuatu!!!
The travel insurance health cover is cheaper!!

Anthony H

Dear Nat,

Thanks for all your help, had no idea at the beginning this would turn out to be so easy! 28 years of self administered poisoning and i recall 2 of us in the class at the start said "But cigarettes are my life" - Not any more thanks for the help & direction.

Izabella

I just wanted to thank Allen Carr. I have read his book and stopped smoking almost 3 months ago. I still can not believe how easy it was.I do not miss cigarettes at all,did not put on weight and I have never felt better! Thank you :-)

Rebecca

Hi, my name is Rebecca. I finished listened to easyway stop smoking audio book last Thursday night. I am amazed because I feel like I have always been a non-smoker. I can't believe I wasted all that time in the last 13 years because I was too busy smoking. Thank You very much for giving back my life :)

Chris C

Thanks for the Help,
Not one, nil, nada, zero, Amazing!!!

Geg J

Just like to thank you heaps for today. We walked out of your class with a positive mindset and a whole different outlook on giving away that terrible addiction. I must say, the way you delivered it, made all the difference, nice work. You do make it sound easy, and hope all in our class got the same results as we did, time will tell.

Katie J

First of all I have to say a huge thank you for the service you provide.

I am a non-smoker. Never have smoked, never will. I have been with Rob for 8 years who has been a smoker since he was about 17. I never thought I would see the day when he wouldn’t want a cigarette. Rob came home so positive yesterday and I really think your course has changed his thoughts about smoking for good. So thank you very much!

Andrew Temple

I wanted to thank you and the easyway system for helping me quit my 20+ a day cigarette addiciton!!!!

It's now been 4 weeks since I came to your clinic and 4 weeks since I smoked my last cigarette! I feel energetic and healthy, I look better and I have more money too!!

Not only has quitting been relatively easy; it's also been quite enjoyable and I would recommend without hesitation your approach to every smoker in the world if I could.

I know I will never smoke again.

Thanks so much.

Margaret

Just wanted to let you know that I finally finished reading the Allen Carr’s Easway to quit smoking book last Sunday and I can proudly say that my last cigarette was Sunday, 26th April at 3pm. I know it’s only been 5 days but I feel very confident that I will never smoke another ciggie ever again….in fact, during these last five days I’ve been totally amazed as to why I smoked for so long…32 years….what an idiot not to stop sooner!

Great book and I will be recommending other ‘confirmed smokers’ to read it. If I can stop smoking and do it completely stress free, anyone can.

Big thanks!!!

David Rice

I have just completed the course on the 19th December 2007 and happy to say 'I AM NOW A NON-SMOKER'
I have been smoking for over 25 years and would class myself as a very heavy smoker, as I would smoke on average 50 a day.
I would smoke 5-8 cigarettes before I left the house in the mornings and just couldn't do without them.
I did the course with NATALIE CLAYS in Sydney and have had the first Christmas for a long time SMOKE FREE.
I just can't believe the difference in my life already, my energy levels have gone off the rictar scale, life in general is so much more different and clearer in everyway. I thought I would send this email to say
"KEEP THIS GREAT WORK GOING" as ALLEN CARR'S EasyWay works 100%.

Cetin Ozbal

After 18 years of smoking I am finally free from the torture and slavery which smoking carries with it. I feel like I am born again. I have a new zest for life which I did not know is possible.
I have more energy now then I have had ever since I can remember. I am now going on daily walks, not because I feel I have to, but because I have so much energy that it's almost automatic. I have so much more energy that I am literally finding it impossible to sit down for more then 10 minutes. I could take up a whole page writing the benefits I am now feeling. There are no pain's, pang's or any type of withdrawal symptoms what so ever, just a great day, every day. My only desire now is to convince my family and friends who are smokers to contact you.
I am 100% certain that there is no easier way to become a non-smoker then the Allen Carr way. I never ever thought for one moment that it could be this easy, I just now wish I could convince others.
Thank you for giving my life back.

Kylie Jones

I have waited 2 months since my session to send this as I wanted to make sure it really worked first (even though I never really doubted it), but I am happy and so proud to say that it has been exactly 2 months since my Allen Carr session and the last cigarette I will ever touch in my life!
Thank you so much for helping me make one of the most positive changes I will ever make in my life. I no longer feel trapped in the deception that I actually ever enjoyed smoking, and I am feeling so much more balanced, happy and healthy since I quit.
I can, and have, highly recommended Allen Carr's Easyway to anyone who realises it is finally time to bite the bullet and quit.

Melissa Henry

Couldn’t be happier and I’ve been spreading the word about the course and highly recommending it to all who want to stop smoking.
One of the girls at work is trying to do it cold turkey and she’s craving but I’m not. Thanks once again for helping me be a better me.

Amanda Bryce & Risee Rebello

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !
It has been one whole year, you have helped to change our lifes.

Wadih Hanna

If i could convince all smokers to see you i would. Finally i worked out why the hell i felt trapped for so long. It's like a feeling of needing to break through a brick wall only to discover once your out that the wall was made of paper.
Thank you, Thank you...

Effie Mavros

Two nights ago I was awake late, and, between cigarette breaks, I was watching television, as I often do. There you were, having a 'conversation with Robyn', and I was fascinated. This was my subject, a discussion about my addiction, a problem I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to escape for a decade.
The following morning my baby sister and I visited our local bookstore and bought a copy of Allen Carr's book-she has been a smoker for twenty two years and I for twelve, and together we have supported this habit through many transitions. Nothing has stood in our way or helped us to give up, we struggle and always we smoke. It took her less than 24 hours to read the book, she devoured it and came out the other end a happy, reformed smoker, like never before.
My turn now!!
I would like to thank you, all of you who support the work of this amazing, honest, good man, who has and will continue to change the world. I look forward to being a non-smoker and helping others to do the same. My name is Effie, my sister's name is Ana and together with our two young boys, who look to us for quidance and example, and who need us alive and well, we thank you. The late Mr Carr, all of you who do his work and Robyn who brought you to my attention will be in our prayers as we go on, better for the freedom. With gratitude and adoration,

Nina Gibbs

Natalie....thankyou, thankyou, thankyou....I know I am free.
I only attended the clinic yesterday but i already know that I am free. i went straight out last night to a party and drank wine and actually got a bit drunk......I didn't feel like smoking once.....eureka its over already.....I know that no matter how drunk I get I will not feel like smoking a cigarettte. I didnt even contemplate a cigarette.
I spent time with my smoking friends and I just felt sorry for them..... it was all so clear.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for setting me free its the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Joseph Hynes

I am free. Thank you.

Amanda

I just wanted to thank you for your TXT message the other day, it was very thoughtful.
Just to let you know, i have NOT had a smoke, i have got to the point in the last 3 days where i dont even think about it much unless someone asks me how im going with it.
I have woken up the last three days at 7am and jumped out of bed to start my day, Im feeling so fantastic and everyone keeps saying i look really healthy and random people are asking me why i am smiling so much.
So i just wanted to say, i dont know how you did what you did to me but, i thank you so very much and i just look forward to 3 months down the track from now and how amazing im going to feel.
Thank you thank you thank you.

Serena Sicuri

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Thank you for setting me free.
I attended your Allen Carr clinic on 21/08/06 and it has worked like a miracle. I’m so happy I’m over the moon!! 44 years – a smoker no more – in one session!
Your session was also very enjoyable and intense and very rewarding, keep up the good work!
I’ll not only recommend you – I’ll be like a walking billboard for you!!

Gail L

Thanks for the session on Saturday - it was brilliant! I have been raving to friends since and can't quite get over that mental image of all those cigarettes in the middle of the room and how poisonous they are.
I am relieved and excited to have had my last one!

Anne

Just a quick note, and a big thankyou, it has been 5 weeks today since I did the course and I am totally smoke free. I am extremely happy and proud.
The black shadow of guilt no longer keeps me company and I am so happy being a non smoker. I didn't think it was possible. Once again thank you.
Keep up the good work. Happily never again. Thanks again.

Leia

Troy is doing excellently thankyou so much!! I am thrilled that he has done the course and has had no inkling to have a smoke.
I read Allen Carr's Easyway book 12 months ago and also gave up instantly, but Troy is not really a reader and found that your course was just what he needed.
He went to a party that night and raved all night to his friends who have struggled to give up that they should look into it- as he told them "it is just so simple and i dont even feel like a smoke". Thanks again.

Adam Andresen

Thankyou I'm FREE.....I am 33 yrs old and have been a smoker since 16 after joining the RAAF. I did stop for 2 yrs about 4 yrs ago on my own "cold turkey" and was free, till a friend asked if I woould like a cigar before I knew it I was a smoker again, Allen Carr's book helped me stop again and this time for good.
I made that promise to myself and now enjoy a new rejuvination. The book helps you accept the truth about smoking that we all know but refuse to acknowledge. So thankyou again I'm free.

Stephen R

I have tried and failed various other methods of quitting.
I attended Allen Carr’s Sydney clinic with the hope of becoming a non smoker but with a belief deep down that perhaps no method would ever work. At that time, I was also in a mindset whereby I thought I was thoroughly ‘enjoying’ cigarettes and was not ready to give up.
Unbelievably, I have not had a smoke since attending that day 2 months ago. I have in that time encountered almost every scenario or circumstance that could make me want to smoke - stress, disappointment, drinking, socialising with smokers etc.
From a personal perspective it has not been as easy for me as espoused by this method however, Allen Carr’s method has certainly made it very achievable.
I generally feel less stressed in life, more relaxed, healthier and proud of myself for kicking a life destroying drug habit.
I am now very confident of not having another cigarette for the rest of my life – the thought of smoking rarely crosses my mind. If it happened I would be bitterly disappointed with myself.
Thanks to Natalie and the Allen Carr method of quitting!

Kimberly Booth

I have been busting all weekend to send an email thanking Allen Carr for writing the book "Easyway to Stop Smoking". It only took me 2 days to read the book and then another 2 hours to listen to his wonderful back up CDs.
I decided to extinguish my final cigarette early on Friday morning and did so with tears of happiness rolling down my cheeks!
I felt a little bit anxious, not because I didn’t believe Allen's method but because I thought I would be the only person on Earth who wouldn’t be able to follow it.
I have been on a natural high since then and keep pinching myself to assure myself that I'm not dreaming! I feel like the biggest weight has been lifted from my shoulders and sincerely want to thank Allen not just for saving my life but also giving me back my life!!

Belinda P

I feel very sad to hear about Allen Carr's death. I know he helped many people, and i was definately one of them. I first heard about Allen's method through a few friends who had quit smoking. I had one friend who everyone knew would smoke for the rest of her life, a real chain smoker, and she actually had quit smoking. No one could believe it.
I had been smoking since i was 14 years old. I started smoking to be cool. In the end i decided to quit smoking so i would not die.
In April 2006, my sister passed away from a long 7 year battle with cancer. It started off as throat cancer for her. She was a smoker.
My other sister and i were both smokers. We decided to try to quit together.
We both booked in for Allen's seminar in Sydney, Australia for June 2006. We postponed about 5 times. We were both terrified of quitting. Finally, in September 2006, we attended the seminar. I was quite sceptical about the method. I didnt know how it would work.
Even after the seminar, i was unsure if i could stay stopped. The first week was a struggle. There were definately moments where i thought i wanted a ciggerette. I just kept reminding myself that i actually dont enjoy it and its just like putting on tight shoes, only to get the relief of taking them off.
After that first week, something just clicked inside my brain and it was easy.. I have remained a happy non smoker for 5 months. I am really active and enjoy my life a lot more than when i was smoking. My sister did not stop from the first seminar. She went back for the follow up session and has not smoked since then. I think the reality is that some people have more of a struggle than others, but if you are willing to become free from the addiction, then anyone can stop smoking through this method.
You just have to give it a chance.

Sam Bonello

I personally want to thank you so much for helping me give up smoking my and even myself can’t believe it.
I came to your class in the morning being a smoker and left that afternoon a non smoker. AMAZING!
I have already recommended your class 1 person attended through a friend of a friend and they are non smokers. I feel like I have never been a smoker.

Charlie Milne

Having attended your course on 9/9/06 no one is more surprised or delighted than I am at my success, having been a 30 per day smoker for 15 years I have not had a cigarette since and have no intentions of ever returning to the nicotine trap.
Thank you, thank you, thank you - the course was worth its weight in gold!

Dominic Ogburn

I wanted to say how very grateful I am to the late great Allen Carr for his EasyWay stop smoking method, as having been a smoker since I was 15 (now 45) I previously found it all but impossible to give up. Now, after only a single day clinic I have given up the wretched smokes and am happily a non smoker!!. It was all easily comprehended, very logical and and provided compelling reasons to simply stop.
My two young sons and girlfriend are now so proud of me and happy that I will not hopefully suffer any diseases from the years of smoking, which they regularly saw on anti smoking TV ads but which never did anything to stop me as I always just turned them off.
I hope that one day you can develop no alcohol and other drug type clinics as to give up nicotine must surely be pretty much the most difficult but I have done it, thanks to you.

Tim Gordon

I attended your course on 18 September 2006 and have been happily smoke free for the past 4 months. At the time of the course I had just turned 39 and had been smoking for half my life, I was overweight, suffered from asthma and was very unfit and unhealthy. I had tried giving up so many times I had lost count.
I heard about Allen Carr from a friend who lent me the book and I gave up whilst reading it and did not smoke for 14 months. Unfortunately I did not finish the book and I think that contributed to my relapse.
After smoking for a further 12 months and cursing myself and trying unsuccessfully to hide it from my wife and children I was prepared to travel to Melbourne where I heard they had an Allen Carr Clinic, luckily they had now opened in Sydney and I attended Natalie’s course.
On leaving the clinic I was nervous and unsure – I didn’t know if I was cured, it is hard to know if something has happened if you are waiting for something not to happen – I was waiting not to smoke.
As the next few days unfolded I was beginning to realise exactly how easy it was to be a non smoker, I had not missed smoking, had not craved smoking and felt happy to be free of them. I did not have any withdrawal symptoms at all.
Over the past 4 months my health has improved dramatically and because I have been more active I actually lost 13kg (from 99kg down to 86kg). I have been to numerous functions where I have been exposed to people smoking and I have felt no desire to sneak a puff. Every now and then I will join people at work on a smoke break and talk freely with them while they are smoking - the only difference is now I stand a step back out of their fumes.
It appears to me that the only thing stopping most people smoking is their fear of not smoking. I feel positive that I will never smoke again and I am thankful to Allen Carr for the program that he devised.
I am astounded that he hasn’t been knighted, awarded a Nobel prize or had some formal government recognition for his amazing achievements in helping millions of people to be free of the deadly nicotine trap.
Please feel free to use all or part of this reference, including my full contact details in your campaign to have the Australian anti-smoking lobbies and action groups take on the Allen Carr message. Good luck and THANK YOU !!

Megan Bard

I attended the course in October 2006, very doubtful that I would stop smoking, I wanted to but never thought I had it in me to stop.
After a few hours in the course, I WALKED OUT, A NON-SMOKER. Thank you very much, am now passing on the word to smoking friends.

Rob E Lee

I believe it was August 14th 2006 last year I can to your Allen Carr’s Easy-way one day programme and I have not touched a cigarette since.
It has been a total life changing experience for me to the degree that when I smell cigarette smoke it makes me feel sick in the pit of my stomach.
Every person I have the opportunity to talk too who smokes, I have great pleasure in informing them that I was a 16 mg, 40 to 50 per day smoker for 33 years and in five hours I stopped. I never wish to smoke again and the thought makes me ill.
Since having stopped smoking, I have been to the cardiologist who has advised me I am ok with no major arteries being clogged or blocked, but my level of fitness is only just average.
I am currently seeing a lung specialist and after tests my lung capacity is down by 40% and it will take a long time to recover to normal (possibly 10 years) but the lucky thing for me is there are no signs of emphysema on my lungs (after detailed image scans etc) but I have contracted asthma and will be on Symbicort for a very long time as well as after having had a sleep study assessment I am about to go onto a CPAP machine for the rest of my life.
With all the information I have gained through the Allan Carr’s Easyway programme, the quality of my life has totally changed to the positive. I am far better informed as to why I had smoked and why I don’t need to smoke and will never smoke again.
I am totally amazed that Allen Carr's method is not endorsed by the Quitline, health service, government, QUIT or the Cancer Council, they need a rocket up them.
This is the best method I have used to stop smoking, and I have tried many from acupuncture, hypnosis, gum, patches, hypnosis, and cold turkey and smoking cannabis as a substitute to tobacco, but failed in all cases and here we have a five (5) hour programme that had me walk out the door and not want a cigarette again and have not had a cigarette. They made my life totally miserable.

Karen

YES, I am now a happy non smoker.
I have been free for six months and have a new wonder for living as I feel FREE. I know I will never smoke again as I have no desire to. (not even one).
I found it really easy (first week or two, the odd twinge then no desire to smoke) even though I only attended the course because my friends went, you could smoke during the day and get your money back if failed.
Over the last 20 years I had tried to quit many times with different methods, was miserable and failed every attempt. The scare techniques on packets and TV just made me feel more miserable as I thought I could never stop smoking.
THANK-YOU!!!!

Barbara A

My name is Barbara A & I attended your 12th Aug'06 clinic.
I wish to thank you as I'm NOW a non smoker. I dont know how the Allen Carr clinic works but I feel great .
For your info I WAS a smoker for 45 years!!!!! Thank you again

Glynda Curtin

Hi Natalie, just quick note to let you know that after attending the clinic on the 22nd of April.
I have been Nicotine FREE for the first time that I can remember in my life! I feel great and you were right - I have no desire and no withdrawal pangs.
I would like to thank you and even that is not enough.

Kathy P

I'm going great guns and am madly trying to persuade my daughter and a girlfriend of mine to read the book but I guess everyone has to get there in their own time.
If it could work for someone as severely hooked as I was
it can work for anyone. It just puts you in the right head space.
I feel a bit sorry for smokers with the latest campaigns on the smoke packets, and those quitline ads about how much support you'll need to stop, it just makes it even more stressful.
I just wish I'd read the book years ago.

Kamal R

I am happy to inform you that I was at the Casino last night among all the smokers, got offered a cig and declined to accept. For me, I believe the ultimate test. Thanks for your help.

Anja S

I'm very pleased to tell you that I haven't been smoking and have
found it incredibly easy to resist temptation!
Thanks so much for helping me become a very happy non-smoker!

Matt

I just extinguished my final cigarette. It was quite amazing, the revelation.
Whilst I could see what Allen was doing whilst I was reading the book, everything that he said made logical sense and I know that I will never smoke again.
My thanks and appreciation to yourself and Allen.

Lee Webb

A very big thank you for all your work last Saturday. I am feeling great...

Deborah S

I am so excited and really have found it so easy.
I am surprised because the book didn't work for me at all. Thank you so much for changing my life, and that of many others.

John Chandler

I can understand why it is called "Easyway®" if those attending your clinics follow your instructions it will be the easiest but best thing that can be accomplished by them!
After your clinic and my last cigarette I have never felt better!
I headed straight to the club, ordered my round of schooners and to my delight found that I could enjoy a few beers with out having that butt hanging out of my mouth.

N. B.

It’s been a year now and I want to let you know that I am a happy non-smoker. You have done a fantastic job on me with the Allen Carr Method.

T. F.

I still don’t know exactly how you did it but I am a non-smoker after 30 years of chain-smoking. I am doing things again! Life is great!

K. G.

Thank you, thank you, thank you - I can’t believe how easy it was to stop with the Allen Carr Method, when I tried everything else and nothing worked before! I am ashamed I was so sceptical. To be rid of the fear and the feeling of being hopeless and weak-willed is the greatest thing that happened to me.

Peter

Well I am at the six month mark.
The system has worked for me because
I believe I have handled it emotionally.
This was possible because of the content in the course.
I also believe that if I went cold turkey on the same day I would be back on them.
I feel that all round I handle stress a lot better too.
I enjoy cycling more and went up market on a new bike with the proceeds of not smoking.
I tried three times over 31 years and this system was what worked.
I am hard core, and don't care to be told that it is bad and controlling or I will die etc, not interested in the slightest.
I gave up to enjoy sport and to not smell of it whilst doing business.
I felt I was ready, and it appears so.
In any case the all-round benefits are great.
Thanks again Natalie.

Lisa

I haven't thought much about having a cigarette this afternoon.. Only twice.
And both those times I thought of the little nicotine monster inside! I like that analogy. Its an enemy that I'm trying to kill off. It works! And the 1st cigarette will kickstart the cycle all over again which is something I really don't want. Thanks again for giving a great presentation today.

Pete

Just wanted to say thank you and to let you know tommorow will be 1 month since I attended your session and I have not smoked since! I cannot believe how easy it has been and I only wish I went years ago.

Catherine

I hope you are well. I just wanted to report i have remained a non-smoker and intend to for life! Many thanks

Philip Probets

Hi, I have now been a permanent none smoker for just over a week after reading Allen Carrs "Only way to stop smoking permanently."
I have no desire to smoke yet have no problem being in a room or the car with my wife who still smokes.
My wife, kids and friends are absolutely amazed at how easy it seams to be for me ( based on several very aggressive attempts to quit using other methods ). In fact I was terrified as I read the book, knowing that at some point I would be told to smoke my last cigarette, but when it happened I just got on with it.
To be truthful, I still don't believe just how easy it has been !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Niki & Llona

We did the Allen Carr course last week and can't stop smiling! We have not smoked since we extinguished that last cigarette on Saturday, everyone is astonished and can't believe what we have achieved. We will never have to walk outside for another cigarette again!

Emma

Just a quick note to say that I'm still off the fags!! Yeh!! There have been times where I thought it might be nice just to sit and relax with a drink and smoke, but I can't seem to get past the thought of disappointment if I did. Well It's coming up one year!

Diane G

We can not believe that we have stopped smoking. We are actually amazed. Words can not express the joy of thinking that I have a future to look forward to with my kids. I will ensure to recommend your sessions to anyone who wants to listen. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

June N

have already told my friends and my daughter about your book...i am 70 years old and have been smoking since i was 18..still free today...yippeeeeeeeeeeeee

I woke up this morning and felt so excited and happy to be a non- smoker! Thank you so much for your fantastic clinic which helped me to become a happy non-smoker!

Joanna

I thought I would just send you a quick catch up email. As of tomorrow (8th), it has been 3 months since I attended your course and I am delighted to inform you that I have not had a cigarette since !!!!!!!
It has not been easy ... although I have not (for one second) felt the urge to smoke. It has been life changing, in a fantastic way ... ..
Thank you very much for a brilliant course and I hope that, firstly, I never ever smoke again and, secondly, lots and lots of people continue to attend your course and change their lives around just like I have. Have a great weekend.

Adam

I came to your clinic on Feb 9th and have not once been tempted to smoke or had the desire to smoke.
I was a smoker for almost 25 years and after many failed attempts at giving up through will power and nicotine patches I began to think I would never manage to be free from the clutches of nicotine addiction.
Since the course and for the first time in my adult life I genuinely do not want to smoke. I also feel 100% certain that this is going to be the case for the rest of my life. Thanks for everything - I'm recommending everyone I know who is a smoker to attend your clinic!

Natasha Gan

It's been amazing to finally be free of nicotine. The best time of the day is the morning when i wake up and thank allencar. I feel proud and free thanks again

Karen D

I wanted to thank you for Saturday!
I have done really well, my partner smokes and I have not found the urge when he lights up.A BIG THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Sean Tottenham

First and foremost I would like to thank Allen Carr for saving my life and, hopefully, thank you in advance for saving the lives of the people I love.
I am 27 years of age and I have smoked since I was 15. That's 12 long years of being conned into the trap!
I stopped smoking and released my self from the trap on the 25th February 2008. I have completed 10 wonderful weeks of nicotine free euphoria. I also know for a fact that I will never smoke ever again and it's all thanks to Allen Carr's EASYWAY TO STOP SMOKING.
I was saddened to hear of Allen's passing, my thoughts and regards go to his family and friends. He has saved the lives of millions of people and exposed the scandal of today's society that smoking really is. I recently read Allen's posthumous book Scandal and agreed with every single word of it. I have no doubt that Allen's work will continue long after his tragic death.
Thank you Allen Carr
Sean Tottenham
Very Happy Non-Smoker
Very Happy Customer
P.S. My wife is now half way through reading EASYWAY TO STOP SMOKING (Fingers Crossed).

Kelly

It is hard for me to believe it let alone say it ? I have not smoked since our official "Last cigarette" on Saturday.
I have thought about smoking and the impact on my life, especially my time, and it is all good. I have managed to smile every time I think "I would have lit a cigarette just then" ie if the phone rings or I got in the car etc. It is a bit too easy, I am waiting for the catch, the pain, the misery.
I even had a social function on Saturday night at my home and another one for mother's day on the Sunday and mixed with the smokers with no problems.
So far so good.

Lorraine

I am very impressed with the whole allen carr quit smoking, i have not missed the smoking since doing the course.

Tara Birkett

I know its only been 10 days since I stopped smoking from your wonderful workshop but I just wanted to say a big thank you because not only was the day surprisingly enjoyable, but the transitionary period afterwards has been great ? and really EASY!!. Each day I feel better and better, and stronger and more confident that I am no longer a smoker and it feels BRILLIANT!
I've been through all my usual triggers (alcohol, stress etc) and have had no cravings whatsoever ? I am over the moon already and 100% confident that I will not smoke again!
So thank you thank you thank you!! It really is a wonderful experience!

Karin

I have been meaning to write for a while, but haven't managed to until now. Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you. I attended the course on the 24th January this year. Even though I had read the book a few times and agreed with the principles, I had also attended various other courses and used patches and gums on numerous occasion, but never quite succeeded in becoming a non-smoker. So I attended the course a little sceptical that my two years of stuggling to stop smoking were going to be resolved in half a day.
Anyway, so I left the course, was going OK in the afternoon, I went out that evening was a bit fuzzy but was doing OK. I went to an event that was a bit surreal for me with my father, who smokes. So I had a few cigarettes in the car on the way home. I was so disappointed, I was just thinking another course failed. But I said I would start tomorrow which a fresh slate.
So I woke up the next day as a non smoker. And now 4 months later I am a non-smoker. I knew that if I made 3 months then I have done it.
I was quite surprised at how easy it was. The first few days my head was a bit fuzzy and scattered but that was it, no horrible withdrawal pangs nothing. If the thought popped into my head, I knew that it was the little monster dying, which was a thing to rejoice.
I can tell how nice it is to be a non-smoker, I really enjoyed smoking (yes I know there was nothing to enjoy), but I did, but I much prefer and enjoy a 100 times more being a non-smoker.
I now look at smokers and am so grateful that I am no longer caught in the trap and am free to enjoy my life.
Anyway, thank you, am not sure what you did that day, but it worked and I am grateful.

Liz

Just wanted to let you know, I'm doing great and smoking is a thing of the past. Did the clinic with you on the 10th of May....
Thanks for helping me and making it so easy, I hope the others I met that day are all doing well and enjoying there new smoke free life.
Once again,
Thanks x 100000000000000000000000000

David & Maree

I really enjoyed Sat,I am amazed at how quick the body has started to heal.
In just a few days I am breathing clearly!
David & I have both been offered ciggies & have been shocked at how quick we responded with NO we don`t smoke anymore.
Clearly this is the greatest investment we have ever made!
Again thank you & Allen Carr where ever he may be.

Tasha Wilson

Hope you're well.
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know all is good and I've been smoke free since I left the session.
You might remember I was seriously skeptical (up until the moment I got home, even), but it's done and I'm a non-smoker.
I'll keep you updated and thank you ever so much for you help!

June

Here i am 4 months later and still free of those white sticks that have been ruling my life for 40 years - cannot believe i am a non smoker at last and it is all due to your book - have told everyone i know who smokes and today someone finally asked me for the title and author ! Well i will always be your biggest fan - you have changed my life completely

Katherine H

Thanks so much for the course - I am pleased to say that almost 2 months on and I am still a happy non-smoker. It has been so easy. I have told my work and they are offering people incentives to go along to the course now - so hopefully the word will continue to spread.

Susan

Just wanted to send you my thanks as the 3rd time has definitely been lucky for me!!
How good is life as a non-smoker! I must say this has been the easiest thing in the world for me this time and I am finally a fully fledged non-smoker and could never imagine smoking again ? Yuck!!!
Anyway just wanted to let you know I was powering along, many thanks for your help and belief in all of us.

Oliver Goodfellow

A short note to thank you for the session on Saturday and your powerful, professional and easy to understand delivery of facts about smoking.
Pack a day to zero. Can't quite believe myself.
A rather unexpected benefit that has come out the course is related to Anxiety. For several months now, I have been suffering panic attacks, and my general level of anxiety is high. I can't tell you what a different person I feel already and it's only Monday morning. I believe there is such a strong link here and it's one of the first things I have noticed that has changed since I stopped smoking, a wonderful feeling too, I must add.
Feeling very confident that I will never smoke or be tempted to smoke ever again.
Thank you for helping me to regain my life.
"Normal" as you described it, feels so damn great!

Betti C

My Testomonial to Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking is I wake up every morning and thank God he had wonderful people to carry on his work. As a smoker for 35 years & having tried all the other methods I am in my third week after doing Allen's Easyway Seminar I feel like it's a miracle I can't believe after all my efforts it was as easy as this. I have got my life back & received the most precious 50th Birthday Gift I could get" being a non-smoker". I have a 4 year old Grandson that tells me every time he sees me how proud he is that I don't smoke anymore! You Can't Get Better than that!!!
Everything that I had heard about this method was the truth & I am living it.

Ali

Just a quick note to say thank you! Myself, my boyfriend Rob and our friend Dave did the course two months ago (on June 7 - we were the hungover ones!) and I'm really pleased to say that none of us have touched a cigarette since. In fact I just can't imagine smoking again - which is a big thing for the girl who could never have a glass of wine without multiple cigarettes in her hand (not at once!).
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you - and all the best for the continued success of the course.

Kellie and Michael

My partner and I attended your seminar early this year at Balmain Leagues club. Prior to this, we had tried everything form patches, Nicobrethen pills, gum, hypnosis you name it We walked out of the course on the Saturday and have never looked back. We both laugh at how easy it was! I remember walking out of there on the day and was still a little skeptical. I did not think that this new mindset would last and I would be a happy non smoker forever but it has, and I am and I will never look back. I was initially worried that the next day, or the day after that I would be craving one but I never did. I did not eat more or put on weight I actually lost a little which surprised me and also made it easy to stay on track.
I Just want to say on behalf of my partner and myself, thank you so much. This program is the best thing I have ever done and it has changed both our lives!

Betti C

Just an update it's been 7 weeks now & Glenn & I are still non smokers. We still weigh the same but our fitness has improved. I walk 2km's a day & Glenn rides 10km's a night on his exercise bike. I purchased totem tennis to play on weekends with Glenn but find I laugh so much it is near impossible to play but fun trying. We have worked out that we have saved $1400.00 dollars in the past 7 weeks. We have already got our money back with a bonus! We will be going on a overseas holiday soon! Thanks again!

Debbie

It's been a year today since I attended the clinic and I just wanted to write and say thank you, as I am still a happy non-smoker!
I have told a lot of friends hoping to quit about the book and the clinic, and thought I'd take this opportunity to say that I don't think there is enough publicity for either. I think there are so many people out there wanting to quit without any idea that there is a simple solution.
Anyway, I can't thank you enough, and I will keep spreading the word as best I can!

George

It was delightful speaking with you on Monday and as I said to you then, after one year and three months, I am still going strong with my smoking cessation. Thank you for your wonderful assistance in helping me overcome a very nasty situation.
Thanks and best of luck in your endeavours!

Rich

Well, I'm officially 147hrs a non-smoker, which is bloody great!
I'm not sure if Allen actually sees any of this sort of feedback, but the book was absolutely brilliant. The hardest thing over the first week has been the psychological battle. The cravings..the what? Every other time I have tried to 'give up', I've fallen into a heap. This time, it got to the end of day three and it had been a breeze. So I've gone from 20+ cigarettes a day to nothing. The funniest thing...i was ready to stop smoking waaaaaaay earlier than the Final Cigarette chapter...but I held off, and I'm glad I read the whole book. It was an eye opener, praise God for freedom!
So thankyou...it's not a stroll in the park, I've had my first ever smoking dreams, I've been a little grumpy. But more than ever before I'm actually aware of the 'little monster' and the way he is trying to get me to feed him. He is dying a slow and painful death!

Cathy V

I am still an extremely happy non-smoker. It's now been almost 18 months and I'm loving the freedom of not being addicted to nicotine.

Tara

Yes I am most definitely still a happy non smoker - nearly 6 months now - and it still has been the best AND EASIEST way to give up smoking and I am soooo happy not to be a smoker anymore!! Simply brilliant! It is exactly like you said, almost like I never smoked. I never think of them, never crave them and I am absolutely over the moon to be rid of the awful 20 year habit and all the negative aspects and emotions and health issues and worries that went along with it.
Yeah I get really annoyed too when I see all the media promoting NRT and quit line etc as ways to give up. I just don't understand why it isn't promoted everywhere, through hospitals and doctors surgerys, on tv, in magazines, etc as being the best way to quit.
So I'm absolutely behind you 100% and yes more than happy to provide a testimonial or be contacted to share my experience and spread the word. Going to your workshop on May 17th was honestly and literally one of the best decisions I've ever made and the funny thing is that I actually really enjoyed the day as well!!
Good luck and let me know if I can do anything at all to help!!!

Robert Lee

Firstly, I am a very happy NON-SMOKER as of 14 August 2006, over two years and have no desire to ever smoke a toxic life killer again.
It would be my pleasure to be a spokes person of the best thing that came my way and was the direct help that caused me to cease smoking. I started smoking in 1973 aged 16 and stoped in 2006, 33 years of poisoning my self. I had tried every other form of quit smoking options and non-worked including NRT. I have a colleague who is addicted to NRT gum, but Oh... he doesn't smoke any more. What is the difference?

Brendan

Celebrated my 2nd anniversary on 7th October which shouldn't be too much of a surprise BUT was back in the UK, had just celebrated my youngest sister's wedding and my new nephew and niece's christening so was in the midst of severe partying among more smokers than you can count.
They're still in shock that I'm not smoking (as am I still) given most of my mates reckon I could have won gold at a "smoking Olympics" ? I was very good at it.
Anything I can do to help, let me know

Diana

I am happy to say it works!
It's been 19 months since I stopped and can't even stand the smell of anyone else smoking.
I know I will never touch it again after 20 years of being a smoker and smelling like one.
THANK YOU

Georgina S

I just thought I would let you know that I have not had a cigarette since that 2nd remedial class I took over a year ago and I do not intend to have one either. I knew I would get there in the end, I just had to persist.
Thanks for your understanding and patience when it would have been easy to give up on someone who has regressed a couple of times.
All the best for the festive season.

Sally C

I have been waiting till I had gotten through the silly season to write you and tell you I am a NON SMOKER!
After doing the course on 28th November 2008 I left feeling exhausted and ready to take each day as it came. In saying that I am so surprised at how easy it has been. I have no cravings! None at all! That is what I was scared about the most, how to handle the cravings, but I honestly have not had one craving since leaving your course.
Thanks so much! I am enjoying life as a NON SMOKER! Will keep you updated!

Tom Greenaway

I just finished reading "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking".
I just wanted to say THANKYOU SO MUCH. You have completely changed my life. I only just finished reading the book today but I already know that I will never have to smoke ever again. I cant begin to describe the feeling of having that enormous burden lifted from my shoulders. Everything seems so much better now because I am no longer a slave to the weed.
I am giving this book to all my friends knowing that they will be able to stop smoking just as I have.
Again, thank you so much for saving my life.

Gwen Garret

Well this is coming up to my third year of non smoking after 55 years of it. one thing I find so very very puzzling is how I detest the very smell of smoke ( makes me feel ill) i commend you on your devotion in allens name, as I am sure the world has a lot less smokers in it now.

Peter H

I have saved over $4500 on smokes, and I choke when I am around a smoker now.
It's been just over 18 months and I have been through most ups and downs without a cigarette.
I just bought myself a new carbon fibre road bicycle with a grand to spare as reward.
I found the real reward was attending your class.
Thanks again Natalie!
Your the real deal.

Laura MacFarlane

I am so chuffed with myself that I have made it one whole year without cigarettes that I had to let you know.
I attended one of your sessions on 1st March 2008 and havent looked back since. I had tried just about everything known to man prior to trying the easyway and nothing worked.
I am so happy and after 20 years I finally feel in control of my life.
I had two work colleagues attend separately in the months following my session and both of them are still smoke free.
Thank you very much, keep up the great work.

Nichole & Steve

Steve and I just wanted to thank you very very much for helping us start our lives again without cigarettes yesterday. We both know that we will never ever put another cigarette in our mouths again. I will be sure to recommend your program to everyone we know that smokes as it really does work and you were fantastic.

Paul Lucas

I read the Easyway book about three months ago, with some trepidation, recommended by a friend.
Each day since, I see cigarettes disappearing into the past like a signpost I have passed in the distance. Each time I think about cigarettes I think to myself “Yippee I’m a non smoker”.
My wife and I bought our smoking friends this book for Christmas, probably the best gift ever.
It’s early days for me, I smoked for 26 years and tried several ways, not all, to stop but I thought I liked smoking. I could go into all kinds of reasons why I smoked, but to be honest they don’t matter, all that matters is that I don’t do it now.
This book opened my eyes and revealed the con of smoking. Thankyou Alan Carr, you deserve praise for finding the way forward so many must have travelled, after travelling the path yourself. I hope your method finds its way into every smokers home.
The realisation moment was amazing.

Anne

I don’t know if you remember me. I am the Scottish lass that attended one of your seminars Dec 2008. I just wanted to drop you a line to say that I haven’t smoked since, yipee!!
I certainly don’t plan to put one near my lips again, ever. The seminar really worked for me and I am sorry for not getting in touch sooner; I remember that you sent an email to me some time ago. You see, a month after giving up I got preggers and now have a gorgeous 15 month old boy.
We have just moved back to Scotland and my man got a job in Aberdeen so it’s been all the go. I guess I just wanted to take this time to thank you and to share the news that I am still smoke free and happy, happy, happy. I find it hard to not convince others to give up.
Anyhoo, I hope that you are well and happy. Keep up the good work.

Vicki

A big year for me as I have been smoke free for almost 12 months?
I get so frustrated though with the Government when they want to spent millions of $ on methods that don’t work!!! Tim and I will continue to try to spread the word about how great Allen Carr’s Easyway is. My target for 2011 is my Son, I hope I can get him to one of your courses!!
Thank you once again.

Gwen Garrett

Did you know it is nearly 6years since we gave up that stinking weed?. I have thought of another title for you "Allen Carr’s is the only way to stop smoking" has a nice ring don’t you think?

Sue

It will be 3 years on January 10 since I last smoked! I still think about it sometimes but am generally grateful that I am free from the dreaded urge. My greatest insight is knowing that whatever challenges I am faced with, smoking won't change anything! I have saved a lot of money and put it towards nice holidays and occasional treats. I am forever grateful to you coming for to my rescue when I was desperate.

Lara

Myself and Shane are still very happy being non-smokers, enjoying lots more money and time, health and energy. What a wonderful gift it is!

Many thanks to you and all the team.

Henrietta Haywood

I just wanted to let you know….on the 17th of December it will have been 3 years since I finished your course. I have not had a cigarette since. I don’t want a cigarette, I don’t miss them. Thank you so much for changing my life. Keep up your remarkable work.

Pauline Haydock

Since the walking out of the conference room on 20 November I have not had a cigarette - not even a puff!!! I am very happy about this.
I have had some moments and probably am a little grumpy and a wee bit snappy.... but on the whole am starting to feel much better. My cough has gone - I don't feel tight in the chest, my head is clearer and I don't stink as my son told me I did. I love having extra cash in my wallet too - and I can still be with my smoking girlfriends - it is not a drama for me now. Thank you sooooo much! I will be thanking myself and you for the rest of my life that I made the call to do the course.
This morning I found two cigarettes in an old bag and threw them in the bin with ease. Thank you for the reminder about Christmas and a way to view the situation should I become tempted.

Errol H Tout

Well it’s just past the 11th of December that’s 17 months by my diary. The maths now stand at $12.50 per day for 17 months = 17 X 30 X $12.50 = $3,675.00 approximately.
On Saturday I stood behind an old lady at the petrol station. She bought a packet of fags and it cost $17.50. I felt GOOD and still do.

John

All is good with me. I haven’t been smoking or missing them at all. I’ve been in every situation – including the alcohol induced ones that were a problem before – and it’s no problem at all. I was even home in Ireland for a month surrounded by smokers and it was absolutely fine. I had one weekend in Melbourne where I slipped up, but that was over 6 months ago and it only served to emphasise how much I wanted to be rid of them!! I continue to recommend you and the dvd to my friends.
So thank you very much.

Diana Joncevski

Thank you so much for your help this year. I am confident I am free of, ever wanting a cigarette again, love your work.

Ray Heggs

Just wanted to let you know I haven't considered having a smoke since I attended the session early in October.
All the usual triggers that led to me wanting one are still there, and probably more so at times. I am still amazed at the fact that there is absolutely no desire to have one. I can't imagine that I would ever take it up again.
Thanks again.

Kimberly Richards

I know you have heard this over and over again but I would like to say an enormous Thank You

I have not had or even wanted a cigarette for 8 weeks now and although it is only early days I could not think of anything worse than having a cigarette.

I was a 20 a day smoker who hid it from everyone outside my own family because I was so ashamed and hated being a smoker.

I felt so guilty looking at my 1 year old son through the lounge room window while I puffed away on a cigarette watching him stand at the window wanting his mum to be inside with him and play with his toys with him.

I can now not only play with my son all day long without thinking about a cigarette we go on 2 1/2 hr walks every day which I would have never done before.

Every excuse/reason Allen Carr explains are typical of smokers related to me. I found the book very easy to relate too and although I was skeptical about it being easy to quit I kept an open mind and to my amazement just like Allen said I not only found it easy to quit I actually enjoyed it.

Warren Doyle

I do feel proud of my decision to stop smoking and I do look forward to waking up in the morning and being able to breathe normally and not having to spend fifteen minutes coughing my guts up.
It has been a struggle at times but the memory of having to constantly disguise the awful smell off my breath, clothes, skin etc. keeps me motivated to stay off cigarettes permanently.
Please stay in touch. I’ll be happy to recommend you to anybody who asks how I stopped smoking.

Errol H Tout

Well - I have now been an ex-smoker for a year. Blimey. I don’t miss it at all.
Doing the maths is nice! 365 days not smoking X $12.50 per day [I would have spent on cigarettes] = $4562.50 saved in the year. I have bought lots of music albums with this money saved, as well as the trip to Barcelona that I mentioned in previous messages.
I can’t remember the last time I actually felt the little nicotine monster having a whinge down there. I am still on my toes as I realize complacency is my worst enemy and this is how people start again, and the little beast can come back to life at the drop of a hat.
My progress at the gym continues well, although I have no aspirations to being Arnie. I had to move house the other day. This involved lots of lifting and carrying. A year ago I don’t think I would have been able to do this at all. I won’t say I sailed through it, but I could actually do it [and was pretty buggered afterwards] but I certainly feel stronger and have more endurance. I am definitely sure I smell better.
Anyway thanks again, again, again and I hope you feel terrific for saving so many lives [even mine].

Thomas S

I am doing really well, have not touched a cigarette ever since and never will !!! I feel fantastic.

Very funny, I have the occasional 'nightmare' that by accident I have lit a cigarette and take a puff me dreaming: Oh my god, how disgusting and now I have to go through all these horrible moments of my life again!!

Funny and horrifying.

I look at others thinking: What are you doing your poor little sod?

Claire Smith

I just wanted to send an email to thank you so much for the course, the help and for getting cigarettes out of my life.
I attended Thurs 3/6/10 so by this Thursday it will be 2 weeks and I really haven't suffered much at all.
Everything you said made perfect sense and was done in a great way.
I think you are a fabulous!
Again my very sincere thanks.

Errol H Tout

Well I’ve got to 10 months and I’m still not smoking. I did stumble a few weeks ago and had 2 cigarettes in a very stressful evening. They didn’t help and I didn’t like them. It has not put me off my path, more of stumble really. I was ready for it and saw it that way. I just got back on the path and stayed there. I still get tempted but I know what will happen if stumble again and don’t want to go there. Apart from that it’s all good and I won’t smoke again.
The maths look good - 276 days not smoking @ $12.50 per day = $3,450.00 saved so far. How good is that? I’m also a lot better at the gym and seem to be able to stay on the machines [bike, rower etc] for longer.
If I can do this I can do anything!
Thanks again

Steve Fitton

Hi, my name is Steve Fitton. I am the drive announcer on 96fm Perth, and I had my last cigarette just after
12.30pm on Saturday September 12 2009. I remember vividly, because it was the day after the 9/11 anniversary, and I was
hungry, having spent the morning with Di at the Allen Carr Easyway seminar. Ironically I was only there because
it was subsidised by my employer, and I felt obliged. Little did I know that it would work, and change my life.

I started smoking when I was in school, and escalated to a pack a day when I left home at 16. I tried many times
to quit, using every conceivable remedy. Every time a magical new product came on the market(read pill) I embraced it
with gusto, but continued to smoke. I always thought I would kick the habit, but always fell back on my "stressful job"
excuse when I failed. I can't tell you what it was about Di and the Allen Carr approach that worked for me, only that
what Di was saying actually resonated, made sense and stuck. Why WAS I killing myself? What WAS the attraction to these
filthy, smelly EXPENSIVE things? I was worried that I would get drunk and slip up, so I went home that day and tested
the theory! Needless to say Sunday was spent in a quiet room, but I didn't smoke. Nor have I since.

The recent tax hikes and price rises in cigarettes have made me realise just how expensive smoking is. I have recently finished a classic car project that I couldn't have afforded if I was still smoking. You could say that the money I have saved by not smoking has been used in the pursuit of a hobby. I have included before and after shots of Eunice the EH Holden. She is much better for me than smoking.

Sue

Just wanted you to know that I am often grateful to you for helping me to Quit after 40 years of trying.

Particularly at this moment I bless you as I am having major surgery and I know I am fit and my lungs are good from being smoke free for 2 1/3 years.

You do a marvelous job and make a difference to many people's lives!

Errol H Tout

Well according to my little diary it is now 9 months since I attended your clinic. I remain smoke free but very wary of slipping. I still have silly dreams of smoking. Argh! Your warnings at the sessions I attended still ring loudly in my ears.
• ’You cannot have one – you will start the cycle again!’
• ‘There is no such thing as a happy part time smoker’

I can now sing a whole song without coughing. I can [sort of] keep up with my son on his skate board. I’m pretty sure I smell better, maybe I look better but I musta’ been a real child scarer before. I can smell a cigarette from 1000 meters! Get over it dude! I am also eating lots more vegetables. I dunno why but my body seems to want them. I went to the doctor for a check up and he said my lungs were in surprisingly good shape. I was amazed after all that abuse.

It is interesting to see the maths
246 days not smoking @ $12.50 per day = $3,075.00 saved. This paid for your clinic, my trip to Barcelona, my guitar classes when I was there, and some new guitar equipment. As opposed to how much I have spent before I gave up - 35 years X 365 days @ $12.50 per day = $159,687.50 now that’s scary. Of course soon the figure will be $20 per day with the new taxes. I don’t think they work. You could charge $1000 a packet and people will still smoke.

Anyway I thank you – my lungs thank you – my family thanks you

Nathan

I'm Going really well.
Its the best I have ever felt while stoppping smoking. Its not requiring much will power at all.

Kerri

Thanks for your email - I'm going well, loving being a non smoker!
My friends can't believe how painless it has been for me, and I have even had people offering me cigarettes to try and "test" me - to no avail!
What you say is true - you really do break away from that nicotine monster - If I knew it would be this easy, I would have done it years ago!

Gayle

How are you ? Thanks for your email and yes it has been six months – I feel amazing and am so grateful for your commitment to what you do for people and how you don’t give up on anyone (like me). You encourage people (like me who will be eternally grateful to you) to try again, attend again, listen again and maybe this time it will all gel.
I can tell you that this time it has worked for me because I really, really, wanted to give up the smokes. The really, really wanting to do something was the key along with your compassionate approach to people and your belief in what you do and how you present your program, this in turn inspires smokers to believe in themselves enough to break free from the slavery because that is exactly what it is.
Once the smoke screen lifts it feels like a magic moment in life a very powerful moment. I now believe that I can do anything and now have the confidence in my ability to be, do and have whatever I want. I am now free of that nicotine addiction, I am in control of my future.
Thank you for your wonderful program, patience and belief in what you do Dianne

Well I’ve cracked 7 months of non-smoking now

Let’s see.........
That’s 213 days @ $12.50 per day saved not smoking
I get that to be @2662.50 saved. The course is paid for and my trip to Barcelona as well.

I still keep up my guard – over confidence is to be avoided. I still have the occasional dream that I have had a cigarette. I am never pleased in the dream when I do and I wake up and say ‘Thank goodness it was only a dream!’. Weird? You get that I guess. I’m sure you have heard worse stories.

I still go to yoga and the gym but I’ve still managed to put on a fair bit of weight. Some of that will be from not smoking and some from being 50. Still better a little heavy and ‘clean’ than thin and dying.

Thanks for the e-mail, 2 weeks today and it has been almost too easy!!! Still feel like one every now and then but apart from that all is good. Had a few drinks last Sunday and it didn’t even cross my mind to have one. I don’t really feel any different apart from that I can notice at the gym my breathing is a lot easier and I do have more energy, so there wasn’t much point in smoking at all.
Thanks again for the e-mail and if I need to will call you, but I’m hoping that won’t be the case ?. I hope that everyone else that was on the course with me has had as much success as I have.

I wrote this poem morning after the great booster session we had yesterday. I t helped me
reinforce my commitment.

Yesterday I used to smoke my life away
enslaved, I was at the thought of my next smoke
soaked in vile smells, wrapped in dull food
tottering outside, smoking one, and one more.
Early today breakfast came, I had coffee
rejoicing, knowing I won't need that first puff
drawing weekly plans in my pink diary
and taking one step ahead, remembering
Yesterday I’d only move in small circles.

It’s amazing...I have not touched a cigarette since our session on the 6th February. My husband in particular is very impressed as he was very sceptical about this method of quitting. I had a few tough days right in the beginning, but no major withdrawal, it was extremely easy.
Thank you so much for helping me, I could not have done it without you – I have already told the whole world about Allen Carr’s Easy Way – please feel free to use me as a point of reference anytime.

Tina

1. It was originally because of health concerns that I decided to go to Easyway - and I'm glad. My health has improved significantly. I can now powerwalk without getting breathless and have taken up yoga.

2. I had a big issue with the smell of smoke on my hands and clothing at work and washed my hands every time I had a smoke. Don't have to do that anymore !! I also washed my hair every day because of the smoke smell and now don't have to. It took a while to get out of the habit though.

3. Not enough time in the day ....... with not going outside every hour or so, and not washing my hands each time, not going to the shop for smokes every day, I think I've saved quite a lot of time.

4. AND... because I'm not going to the shop for smokes every day, I've saved heaps more money by not buying things I really don't need.. like the chocolate bar and soft drink, magazine or newspaper etc etc.

5. My skin and eyes have noticeably improved - both appear clearer and less wrinkly, I look healthier, - these are comments from others. (wow)

6. I actually felt deprived of a ciggie when my friends were still smoking and I wasn't. Now I've seen the angst they are still going through, I definitely don't feel deprived.
7. I am happier visiting the grandchildren and not sneaking outside for a quick ciggie.....

Ohhhhh - the freedom !!! I now know just how enslaved I was.

Thanks Dianne - I have happily recommended Easyway to some family members and am waiting for them to make the committment. I does get easier.

Kerri

Yes, I am delighted to say that the nasty little nicotine monster is dead!!!
I already feel amazing in such a short time - I have more energy, I have been exercising, I feel happier in general. My friends and family are also commenting that there is a noticeable difference in my appearance such as my eyes & skin being clearer and just looking "brighter" overall!

I was initially a little sceptical, thinking how can a 1 day course remove my desire to smoke but it absolutely did and I have to say I have suffered very little.
On Sunday evening after the course, I was a little teary (I don't know why, but just a little emotional) but did not want to smoke - the next few days, although I didn't want a cigarette, I found myself a little lost ....
sometimes, I would go to have a cigarette and then remind myself that I was no longer a smoker - it was a habitual thing rather than actually wanting a cigarette. I had to travel to Sydney for work on Thursday last week, and spent Thursday night in a beer garden at a pub in the city surrounded with smokers and had absolutely no desire to smoke - I think that was my time of revelation, I am no longer a smoker and never will be.

I will certainly recommend Easyway to my friends, I feel amazing all thanks to you and Easyway.

Thank you so much for setting me free!

Vicki

I would like to thank you and Allen Carr for giving me back my life. I attended your course on Sunday and already I know that I will never smoke again!!! The MONSTER is all but dead YEH! Yesterday was a bit difficult but thanks to you I was prepared and able to fight him and win. I woke up this morning and felt GREAT!
So once again a big thank you. I will tell every smoker that will listen how great the course is and that It DOES WORK!

Jackie

I just wanted to let you know that, so far, I am still a non smoker, and 95% of the time, I am feeling so good about it.
I do have the odd time when I feel a little strange, but not once have I had the desire to light a cigarette.
Its hard to explain what I'm feeling - just a little void or emptiness maybe? However, this feeling usually passes, and I am back on top of the world again pretty quickly.
I hope the others on the course that day (30 Dec) have also been successful. I was so sure that I would be the one to fall at the first hurdle, and to my surprise, I do actually find it easy. It is unbelievable.
My mother is convinced I am taking some form of drugs as she just cannot believe that I am in such high spirits and full of enthusiasm.
I know it has only been just over 2 weeks, but I have it firmly set in my mind that I will never light a cigarette up ever again. I just keep reminding myself that it was that first cigarette that started me on that awful slippery road and I never want to be a slave to nicotine again.

I am in shock as to how simple it has been Dianne, and want to thank you for your assistance.

I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday the 9th Feb 2010. I will, by then, have been a non smoker for 6 weeks. What Joy!!!

Loving life.....faced my hardest days both on boxing day and new years day....regardless of the state of incapacitation or during its progression not once did i think about having a cigarette. I was in awe at how my mind and body achieved something which after the day, seemed so easy...
My brother who lives in Sydney is very interested!

Neale

I didn't realise how much time I wasted during the day smoking. - I now have a lot of free time!
Unlike a lot of ex smokers I don't notice the smell of cigarettes and can't notice the smell in my car even tho' I smoked in my car for nine years.
I can sit down with others while they smoke and it does not worry me in the least.
If I start having problems I will try and make it to a booster session but currently I am going well.

Lisa

I am very proud of myself thanks to you.
I had a hens night on the 3rd of October and woke up in a crap mood and didn’t want to go to
the hens night convinced that I was going to have a shit time, there was no way I was going to have fun
Without my smokes.
Well i had a great time had a few beers, a jelly shot of something, a blue drink in the limo and a shot of tequila,
told the hen and her friend the were pathetic for smoking, sang some awful karaoke, had a Japanese meal and to
my surprise didn't have a very bad hangover.
Then had my best friend mums 60th on Sat night 80% of this crowd smoked and I had the monster in my head
at least 20 times thru the night just one it will be okay, one won’t hurt, sneak around the back blah blah.
but I got thru it.

Then on Sunday we had our traditional Bathurst day at a friends all the guys sit in the carport and smoke and
drink and watch the cars go round and round and round and round enough to make you want to start smoking.
(Now that’s boring). And the girls sit in the garden and do girl stuff with our beer and smokes.
There is 6 of us girls all smoke except me now and 9 guys 8 heavy smokers 1 gave up 10 yrs ago.

I now feel i have been put in every situation that i felt i couldn't do it without my smokes boy was i wrong.
I have more time on my hands, I’m not yelling at my kids as much, that awful feeling in the mornings of being lethargic
and the morning headache is going.
Sounds crazy but last night I smelt my husband’s fingers because I used to like the smell of nicotine on my fingers
And I almost dry reached. (Don’t tell anyone that)
I feel I have dealt with the monster in my belly still working on the one in my head but he’s getting weaker.
Thanks Diane
I don’t want to be nagging at all my smoking friends and family but i did drop subtle hints.

Chris

I’m still going strong and I had realised that I’d been off them for a year.
To me it’s not so much about the money (although it is good to save a bit), it’s about the fact that as someone who smoked at least 200 cigarettes a week, that’s more than 10,400 smokes that I haven’t sucked into my poor long-suffering lungs!

Kristen Cox

I am still not smoking.
- I was 'forced' to go by my partner so whilst I had played with giving up smoking previously never done it seriously.
- We were planning to get pregnant so if was probably good timing to go on the course
- Course was great and very effective!
- The first week was a little tense but after that it was smooth sailing and very much like the 'magic pill'
- I often say to other smokers it is the magic pill and you are never left wanting another cigarette, never envious of others smoking which is a great feeling.
- I love not thinking of cigarettes and basically have my life back.
If you want to send this info o, more than happy for you to do so.

I am happy to help educate people in the knowledge that smoking can be stopped without drugs, gum or lollies. because after 55 years I did it with the aid of a Allen Carr clinic.
I attended a clinic July 29th 2006 after a long time of trying with various things.
like everyone else I was very sceptical. but was desperate to try anything.
I went to a programme at 8.30am a smoker and when I came out of the seminar I was a non smoker and that for me is worth all the praise I can give.
I have to say that I was suffering pretty badly with shortage of breath and bad circulation for a while before I decided to try this programme. I had also been to a hypnotherapy session that didn’t work. so to say I was sceptical was an understatement
I now attend a gym on a regular basis and the pins and needles have ceased to exist. ( I am 72 years old)

Petra Yared

When I went to my seminar I had tried everything to quit and I was quietly despairing that I was gong to die a smoker or at best, manage to quit only to long for cigarettes for the rest of my life. I was also the person convinced I'd be in the small percentage who it didn't work for. It's been nearly 4 years and I'm still so happily off cigarettes and truly know that I'll never go back. It's such a relief and pleasure to be free from that miserable addiction. I never miss them and I only wish I could convince more people to give this method a go with an open mind. It was such a huge help to me.

You helped me stop smoking about 3 months ago in Adelaide, and I would like to thank you very much for what you have done for me, and what you do. It was the most positive thing that I have done for myself for a long time, perhaps in my life!

I didn’t think I would be able to stop on my own, and I walked out of that place a non-smoker. Just like you said. That switch has been flicked, and the chain broken. And it was EMBARRASINGLY easy.

When I got back to my car that day after the session I broke down and cried. I cried! Because I realized in that short amount of time, how foolish I had been over the many years, and how I had been lying to myself. I was crying at how instantly happy I had just become.

People ask "oh, how long have you quit for?" The thing is, I don’t even know the exact time, like they’re expecting me to. I guess because most people keep track of this sort of thing. I'm not keeping track, of the minutes or days, none of that is important, because I stepped out of that door and just continued on with my life, however this time, as a non smoker.

And another thing - I didn't know I was going to the clinic until THAT MORNING! Some of my friends had chipped in to pay for the clinic, and surprised me with it that morning. So from someone who wouldn’t have necessarily stopped on his own, not even knowing what was going to happen that day, to walking out that door a non smoker, that was a life changing day.

You change people’s lives -

Thank you -
